Ask many questions on your potential pet's history, it is in the interest of the pet, yourself and the pet store owner to know all the animals personal details. The staff can be very knowledgable on different aspects of what you may need to look after it, or offer a particular helpful product or advice, if a problem arises further down the track.

Most pet stores will want your returning custom, and will go out of their way to make sure that you come back to them. After all if you have a pet or just got a pet, then you’ll need many things over the years, and you can become their best customer if they play their cards right.
